Why Film Actors failed to drive in any positive message to the citizens of the nation in spite of such good acting skills and concepts…(not to forget hoards of money & resources spent on crass entertainment) ?
Because they do not practice what they preach.
In the reel life the heroines are all promoting Sita Mata, but in real life, they are appearing as Surpanakhas!
We, the people, are not all that dumb also – so even the commoners are following what the tinsel town damsels do in real life (wear negligible nothings and hop skip and jump changing &/or exchanging sex-partners like undergarments!)…but unfortunately, when commoners try to follow them blindly – they just become episodes of Saavdhan India or Crime Patrol!
