Meet Ms. Rinku Das, Special Educator & Counselor
Special education (also known as special needs education, aided education, exceptional education or Special Ed) is the practice of educating students with special educational needs in a way that addresses their individual differences and needs. Ideally, this process involves the individually planned and systematically monitored arrangement of teaching procedures, adapted equipment and materials, and accessible settings. These interventions are designed to help individuals with special needs achieve a higher level of personal self-sufficiency and success in school and in their community, that may not be available if the student were only given access to a typical classroom education.
Online Awareness Campaign on mental illness and other ailments like ADHD, Autism. How to cope with such issues. There are Special Educators & Counselors who can be approached and they can guide you with processes helpful for both parents and children. There are group therapies, yoga and many other creative ways to deal with such situations!
This is a voluntary online campaign or digital film festival that is organized by Kalyug Briefs in association with Cinema For A Cause, an initiative of Learning system.
During this campaign, we interviewed Ms. Rinku Das and she shared with us some details on how and when should one approach a Special Educator.
