What exactly do Indian citizens have against film Padmavati?

What exactly do Indian citizens have against film Padmavati?

Are they against SL Bansali because he chose such a bold & brazen female to depict the paragon of chastity?

You see Indian parents & teachers at school teach about Rani Laxmi Bai, Rani Padmavati, Rajmata Jijabai as examples of ‘women of substance’*.

Now children will see a ‘game’ girl with zero scruples who is dying to drop all her clothes at the bat of an eye (for money, fame, scandalous professional reasons – whatever) …is acting like Rani Padmini – who is literally worshipped as the epitome of purity and chastity!

The children – esp. girl child – will obviously question her parents as to why do they try to inject moral values and concepts like chastity and purity in their brains when the impure, cheap and shameless of the lot snatch all the limelight, live a luxurious life, are famous and are getting paid to  entertain perverts with their sensual innuendos !

The parents find it difficult to reply to such questions – because they have no answer themselves!

Thus when a cheap actress plays some such role that is closely connected to moral and chaste values among women, the entire thing looks like a facade!

In fact there are many who are even mentioning that there was no such incident in history….as the spineless sex-starved generation of today cannot think that a woman can burn herself to death for the sake of her modesty…..why? Because now the females who rule (via billboards, magazines, newspaper) – are famous because of their immodesty &  immoral values…and people live in the present!

Maybe this is the reason why sub-consciously, we, the people, are trying to stop a ‘cheapdi’ to depict the royal & chaste Queen of Chittor!

*A woman of substance is a woman of power, a woman of positive influence and a woman of meaning.
