Humshakals – Film Review

Humshakals – Film Review

Very sad film trying to be very funny!

I really pity the Bollywoodians! They are left with  ‘zero creativity’ methinks! And of course we needn’t be surprised too, with maximum film makers only focusing on selling sex and nudity, how can anyone think of breaking free and think healthy!?

Environment makes a man after all…..and man writes the story. In an environment where females are dying to undress and give the next super-hit item number -why and how can writers think of anything worthwhile or heightened!? Even if there are probably over 1 million great writers in India itself – but who would turn their stories into a film? Not those who are brainless sex-starved  beeps dying to own a ‘keep’(rakhail) of the age group of their great grand daughter!

Where and how would they get such ‘readily available’ game girl? Of course by giving them a ‘carrot and stick’ incentive – ‘You shed your clothes, we give you fame and money’! Thus we have such films now – 2-3 Item numbers, several semi-nude girls dancing…..and……and – yea that’s about all! Movie over.

Hamshakals falls in this category – hardly any story, some silly-pilly semi-nude females frolicking around and couple of males running after them.

Lesson– Do not trust your relatives esp. if you are filthy rich and your relatives are poor. Ram Kapoor is the uncle of multi-billionair Saif and he wants him dead. He had already reached his father (his brother ie.) to coma state – now he just wanted Saif outta his life so that he becomes the owner of the billion dollar company! He turns them into dogs (with the help of his Scientist….Chemist specifically- friend….good use of Science huh!)! Yea- literally dogs for 24 hours where he tries to prove that Saif had gone crazy and he cannot manage the company anymore.

But well ultimately Saif realizes that his Uncle is a villain and manages to trap him in his own game.

Story is over. Nothing else to write. I am good that is why you are getting to read something about the film – otherwise the jokes that are spreading about this film is highly hilarious! Somewhere I read that the Indian Govt. has undertaken the task of compensating those Indian citizens who watched this film!
