Delhi Belly – Film Review

Delhi Belly  – Film Review

I will come straight to the conclusion part – nothing to narrate in it.

So conclusion,

The hip hop kind of songs/ music/ mix-ups/ re-mixes  are usually done by extremely dumb people, who don’t have any brains but have lots of money. Source of money for these brainless blokes can be many …like father is some corrupt official  – thus if the head of the house has no sense of dignity and is a thief – a bold thief on that!- I mean he can be sent behind the bars anyday, anytime but still continues to steal money shamelessly will obviously give birth to complete sassy, crappy children…or maybe born to some poor family with parents adhering to zero culture, value or ethics and are ready to do thing for money – such children can stoop to any level to make money – because being born to poor family and being lesser educated, they blindly follow whatever they see around and find ways & means to make easy, quick money.

Thus daughters born in such families opt for becoming ‘pick up’ girls, items girls (those who are supposed to clad themselves negligibly and dance behind the lead actors), sons can become pimps, thieves etc. Thus as a journalist, Imran reaches to interview one such female whose lyrics are ‘I hate you like I love you’- and that’s all…no more lyrics to the song – only music & more music. Another such song ‘Switty’ for sweety basically – meaning the singer is plain uneducated, rustic fellow…with enough money to hire musicians and event managers to market  his ‘crap’ nationwide. More amusing is the fact that educated guys and girls are left with no other option but to please the blokes – they actually work day and night to make things ‘happen’ for some such rustic bloke!!

Lots of abusive words are used in the film – though mostly censored- but makes it very clear to the viewers about how frustrated we all are – being abusive all the time – and now we are so much into this dungeon that we now also listen to ‘blue songs’ !! Initially it was done after dark…at midnight people mustered some courage to watch ‘blue films’…I guess children of such parents are now singing such songs in broad daylight….and the educated blokes even dance to their tunes!!

School-hood  love affairs can turn out to be pretty dangerous especially if such ‘mingling’ does not have parental consent or approval. In this film, eg., the hubby is seen following his ex-wife with a pistol…to shoot her…and the female is pretty excited about it as well! Showing sheer abnormalities prevalent in this era!

Also the fact that we should purchase edible stuff from a good, hygienic shop and not from road side …..near brothels… where the cooks are scratching their balls while serving you your grub!

A brothel visitor can be blackmailed very easily – so be ready with your camera ..and make money – there is certainly no dearth of such frustrated people in India.

A romantic female who accepts a loser Imran..in spite of his dirty lifestyle, convinces her parents and kind of tries to make things smoother for the man she loves…is not quite appreciated by males. They quite like wild, confused, sassy, adventurous females…thus Imran dumps his fiancée & goes for the masculine female…who probably too had a dirty lifestyle!…you see ‘like attracts like’…in case of human beings.

‘Jaa Chudail’ song ( get lost witch)is a ‘kewl’ song indeed – hope men understand the true colors of such conniving, calculating females and kick them out of their lives asap….otherwise the cycle will continue…such females give birth to dumbos and bimbos and ‘unrest’ – in many forms – continues!!

Providence is with the innocent after all!!….the three blokes were innocent and thus escaped from all kinds of dangerous situations!

PS – Amazing to see ‘Delhi Belly’ got digested in the Bengal Belly – the way Aamir has enacted the Bengal Guru – ex- Disco Dancer – as Disco Fighter….with a ‘Shit Happens’ thingy to top it up – I was sure that the film will get banned in Bengal……and a bandh would be called…but nothing happened to that affect! ( I will nei-bhaar (never) understand Bongs!!)
