What is the film Belar Sesh all about?
Movie tried to take up the relationship issues starting from couples who had seen the days when there were no phones to the days when even beggars have phones and are begging with PayTM!
Storyline:
An aged man, in his 70’s is the owner of a big publishing house. His wife must be in her late 60’s
He has one son and 3 daughters.
Son is busy with his work, has turned into quite a drunkard, does not spend quality time with wife. Wife imagines that her husband is having a good time at clubs and enjoying life with other women. It was not so really – he just spoke flirtatiously with some top notch women so that they give him the contract essential for business growth. But all this he never discussed with wife – and thus they were drifting apart.
Elder daughter – was happily married with a happy-go-lucky fellow. She was a bit emotionally fragile and panicked at slightest disruption.
Middle daughter was married off to a rich fellow – but he was rich because his father left him lots of property – not on his own. He was more into music and played instruments. She was bored by him and thus was having an extra-marital affair with another married man.
Younger daughter was married to a Short film and advt. Director. They were young and thought that togetherness and love was the same as having sex. Period.
Internet friends broaden up your horizons:
The father had befriended couple of foreigners via Internet and was looking at their life style – they were going for deep-sea-diving, mountaineering etc., whereas all he did was sit in his shop and return home. He felt like experiencing all such adventures but realized that his wife was the biggest liability to him and thus decided to separate from her ! He thought that separating from her would make her smart and aggressive and once when he was gone, she could take care of herself.
He files for a divorce and in the court room, the Judge asks them to take a break and spend some time alone. They go to their farm house with the entire family and it is during this stay that each one realizes how and where were they going wrong!
For the 1st time the aged couples talk heart to heart and he realizes that he had neglected his wife’s feelings for pretty long! He was also amazed at her forgiving nature that in spite of so much negligence – she continued to love him unconditionally!
All’s well that ends well!
He returns to his wife saying that he’ll go places but take her with him too!
In the mean time, the son and daughters also realize their respective mistakes and decide to mend ways!
