She is basically shown as a jahil-ganwaar(stupid & ignorant – like you can be illiterate but nice, kind, caring and intelligent / worldly-wise– but this word means stupid as well) woman here – a typical Indian mother-woman-often-seen character – blind towards her son’s vices!
The son is shown to even treat her like muck…but she continues to be blindly in love with him – supporting his corrupt ways all the time! – this is the same blindness that Gandhari had for her sons…….Duruyodhana, Dushasana etc. A blindfold is not required for blindness – you can be blind by your mind….out of jealousy, false knowledge…and sheer idiocy.ignorance!
And being born to this jahil-ganwaar woman, her daughter also suffers in the hands of a corrupt and cheater man – when the mother is such an ignorant fool, what basic discretion fundamentals can she teach her daughter!?Consequently, her poor daughter also fails to recognize the wolf and continues to love him…wasting her time and life!
