Beware of the wife’s wrath – Azhar film review

Honestly speaking..I did not have a single moment of sympathy for Azhar! He gave in to the most ancient weakness of males – ‘a pretty female who is also available’! So? What is the big deal – he will suffer – he ought to suffer…or else all the males will run after ‘available bimbos’ without any thought about family and children!

In the film, Azhar has been shown to come from a simple middle class family. He gets married – arranged marriage and was pretty happy with his wife….it seemed so at least! He even seemed quite a shy kind of a guy too!

Cricket career invited his doomsday….

Then came  his cricket career – and he happened to play well. He got money..and he did not know how to spend it well.. Maybe because he was born in  a middle class family…such people have no idea about spending money judiciously! They watch films and films show the lifestyle of the rich and the famous…mostly wasteful – womanizing and boozing – and they follow it blindly…where else will they get the idea that money can be spent well also!?

So this shy kind of fellow meets with the glamour/ film world female….and since he had money, she probably thinks it to be ok to spend some time with him and make him buy things for her. Such girls usually get into the habit of ‘quick money even through a quickie’ – they have no hassles whatsoever to sleep with just anyone – as long as they have the money – well so goes the rumour actually – I personally don’t know it…but it is rather evident folks…let us not be naive! Plus this female had been recently dumped by a good looking lead actor of the film world….like he had ‘used and thrown’ her…and as cricketers catch well…Azhar caught her!

Camera and socially conscious heroine…..

Now these females are very ‘public conscious’. They like to be only seen with classy or at least good looking males…Azhar lacked both. SO she started grooming him. A poor fellow who lived in a small town and wore plain shirts worth couple of 100s started wearing shirts worth 1000s! He was happy to see how the glamour dame was grooming him up….she was doing it for herself of course but the dumbo thought she was making him look good…by buying him designer clothes…with his money!! Here I would also like to include another aspect – Peer pressure. Azhar saw that his other colleagues were happily enjoying with ‘available females’..and that it was a done thing to have reckless sex with as many as possible …this could also be one of the reasons why he fell for the glamour dame!

Speedily her demands increased. He bought her an apartment in London! wah! gajab!..and he was such a fool that on national TV when everyone was watching cricket – he dedicates the award to Glamor dame! This basically shows that he was really really dumb!

Spending money on concubine….

Anyways, his spendthrift nature and the way he was spending money like water on the concubine did not go unnoticed! His colleagues reported that he is involved in ‘match fixing’. He denied. Now many people are involved in ‘match-fixing’ – he tried to defend himself…but failed…he was suspended forever from cricket!

Well – this is the wrath of the wife – silent wrath – very dangerous indeed. His wife was simple middle class woman – we don’t fight like cats and dogs on the streets…we silently gulp down insult – but that insult takes another form and annihilates the wrong doer…just like Azhar had to suffer for 12 long years before he could prove his innocence!
